Fantastic Location!

“Words can’t do justice to the wonderful time we had here. The home was truly beautiful in many ways. Everything inside is set to perfection. The owners are very friendly and were always available if we had any questions. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We can’t wait to plan another trip there!”

It’s The Best!

“We’ve stayed at many vrbo.com properties over the past several years, but none was better than the Alexander Valley Lodge! It perfectly suited our group of 13 who flew in for a 5 day visit to celebrate a good friend’s milestone birthday. Prior to our arrival, the owner was extremely helpful in answering logistics questions, and upon check in gave us a very thorough and detailed tour of the property. The home is extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable, particularly for a group of our size. We made all of our breakfasts and dinners at the house, as going out to restaurants would have been difficult with our number. We found the house well-supplied with ample dinnerware, glassware, and all manner of cookware. We lacked nothing. Also, on the recommendation of the owner, we arranged for Chef Courtman to cook dinner for us on one night, and it was nothing short of fantastic. We highly recommend him.

On the final full day of the trip, rather than spend another day sightseeing, our group decided to relax at the Lodge instead. We all realized that enjoying the comforts of the home was a far better way to spend our time together. It’s that nice!

The location of the Lodge is extremely convenient to Highway 101, Healdsburg, and scores of area wineries. The one mile private road leading up the hill from the Highway does have a number of twists and turns, but is well maintained and relatively easy to drive if you go slowly. Parking in front of and behind the home is ample, as it easily accommodated 4 cars and an RV (driven in by local friends).

In short, there’s no reason NOT to stay here if your group is visiting the area.”
